- Christian. After 18 years of misunderstanding Christianity, I went to college and studied the book of Ephesians in a Bible Study and nothing has been the same since.
- Wife. In 2004, Michael and I met on a summer trip to Australia. Two years after we left Australia we started dating. That lasted for about 10 months and in March of 2007, we were married. I have now become one of the million Smiths of the world.
- Mom. In March of 2011 I became a mom to Caroline. It has been the hardest, most rewarding job I’ve ever had.
- Dog Owner. A hound dog about to give birth to puppies was dropped off at my in-laws house. The puppies were all very different, so we have no idea what kind of mix they are. We chose Cooper, a gray puppy that has turned out to be an amazing dog.
- Teacher. For a job I get to teach one of my favorite subjects, financial literacy. I work for a credit union that allows me to teach finances in our local schools and businesses.
- Resident of Rome, Georgia. I moved here in 2002 to attend Berry College, then lived with some very generous friends in Rome before I got married. I thought that marriage may take me out of Rome, but somehow we’re still here.
